Receiving a message from his Uncle Ho that the Red Chinese government is moving against the Shaolin temple where he studied kung fu, Hayashi Kato leaves the City for Hong Kong; He is met at the airport by Ulysses Chow, a friend of his uncle, who takes him to two others, Carter Lin and his sister Redgrave; The siblings show the two the beginning of the surreptitious route into the People's Republic, but stay in Hong Kong "to continue the fight for democracy"; As Kato and Ulysses come within sight of the temple, they are confronted by Communist troops.
